Disaster #I

On April 18th around 3:30 PM, Frank and I were rear-ended....and not in a good way. Our Blue truck was totaled and I had to be transported to the hospital. My poor mother almost lost her mind. The poor thing had no idea what was going on as she was at home alone. I don't know what would have happened if Steven hadn't been in town. The hospital kept me in the ER until almost midnight and Steven had to drive back and fourth several times to help us take care of things including his Grandmother. I guess I must have hit my head as it started to hurt intensely right after we stopped moving and didn't let up for weeks. I'm still having headaches almost everyday but less intense. Frank suffered back strain and has had to see the chiropractor several times. Thank God it was no worse. And thank God for Steven, he's been a big help. We took pictures of the truck and I'll post those too. All in all we are very blessed. God had his hands on us the entire time.

Disaster #II

Well, as you may or may not know we have had our run of disasters recently. Frank and I just re turned home from California. What a mess. (Pictures of the Damage coming soon). Frank and I rushed out to Escondido, because not long after we rented it. The neighbor next door (along with several other units) toilet backed flooding their condo and then flowed under the walls into ours. The tenets had to move out as the place was unhealthy to live in. We are now in the process of replacing the kitchen floor. Thank God for Jonathan Calderon. He is our neighbor on the other side. He and his wife Michele have help us out so much, we are so greatful for all they do. Anyway Jonathan just happens to be a contractor and is doing the repairs. I'll post pictures as soon as it's completed.
